One of the things I really love about #bookstagram is fact that there’s no wrong way to do it. If you’re posting bookish pictures on Instagram, you’re doing it right.
I want share some of the apps that I use to make my life easier.
Snapseed (Free; Apple ; Google Play)
Snapseed is a great free photo editing app. My *favorite* feature is the ability to save a look. I spent an afternoon playing with filters and perfected my look. Now it takes less than an minute to edit my pictures.
Repix (Free with in-app purchases; Apple ; Google Play)
Sparkles are easily my favorite feature in this app. There other great tools like flare, hearts, dandelion, and sparkler. I think they’re fun features to add to your photos.
Canva (Free; Apple ; Google Play)
Canva is an amazing graphic design app. You can have no skills (like yours truly) and still make something amazing. I love this to make IG stories. You can make professional looking stories which is super helpful for promoting companies you rep for.
I also love using it for my blog. I’ve made banners for different types of posts as well as logos. See how nice they look?

Evernote (Free; Apple; Google Play)
I’m really not a fan of writing up captions on my phone. It’s a small screen. It can be tricky to get the spacing correct. Blah.
With Evernote, I have the app downloaded to my desktop. I can write up my captions on my computer. I simply sync up the app on my phone and instantly have my correctly formatted caption! All I have to do is copy and paste it to IG.
It’s also a great way to keep bookstagram things organized. I have notebooks for: Hashtags to use; Tags; Rep Commitments; Brainstorming for future photos.
What apps do you use for bookstagram?
Instagram | Goodreads | Facebook | Pinterest | Support the Blog
I use unfold for that ripped paper effect and TADAA free with in app stuff. Tadaa lets me mask an area I DON’T want changed for a filter so it helps me with taking and editing photos when I use my iPad for the book! I can edit everything else around it!

Ooooh. Thank you! TADAA sounds really helpful. I’ve thought about trying to use my ipad for some photos but wasn’t sure how to do it.
