In addition to being a huge YA book fan, I’m also a big Disney fan. I decided to pair up some of our favorite Princesses with some young adult books they may enjoy.

Snow White
The obvious choice: Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis
The not-so-obvious choice: A Countess Below Stairs by Eva Ibbotson [Anna’s father dies and she has to work as a maid like Snow White.]

Sleeping Beauty/ Aurora
The obvious choice: Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer
The not-so-obvious choice: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater [Aurora and Blue both are cursed. Aurora will be saved by true love’s kiss. When Blue kisses her true love, he’ll die.]

Tiana
The obvious choice: Frogkisser! by Garth Nix
The not-so-obvious choice: With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo [Like Tiana, Emoni loves cooking and the freedom she feels in the kitchen.]

Elsa
The obvious choice: Cold Spell by Jackson Pearce
The not-so-obvious choice: Caraval by Stephanie Garber [Scarlett and Elsa are willing to do anything they can to protect their sisters.]
What books would you pair with these princesses?

This is so fun! I really want to cross With the Fire On High off my TBR – it definitely sounds like the kind of book Tiana (and fans of The Princess and the Frog) would like!
