If you’ve found your way here, you’re a reader like me. You’ve probably gone a little starry-eyed over a special edition of a book you enjoy. Maybe it’s signed. Maybe it has a gorgeous cover. Whatever it was, it sucked you into the world of book hoarding collecting.
I’m here to round up some of the places that offer exclusive or special editions of Young Adult books. These are stores that offer an edition you can only purchase from them; not a ‘collector’s edition’ of a book available from multiple stores.

As always, please let me know if I’ve missed a store worth mentioning!

I haven’t tried a book box out but I really want to sometime as they do get some truly stunning editions in them!! And I love some of the special editions that Waterstones get in; they’ve had a couple with hidden covers under the dust jackets too which are just stunning!!

This is another great post! I found Goldsboro early this year and it’s probably my favourite bookstore – so much so I’m now a Premier & Goldsboro Sci Fi and Fantasy Fellowship member – and I would say that though most of their special / exclusive / limited editions are priced between £17 – £25 which is the higher end for hardback books (and I imagine shipping outside the UK isn’t very cheap), given their immense resale value and appreciation over time they are well-worth the investment for a collector. Most of them go on to be worth 5 if not 10 times there original value, and the quality of service, packaging and everything else is so worth it. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.
