Anyone a fan of seeing books adapted for the screen? Here’s a round up of movies based on books on Disney+.
Consider pairing them with the book to make a great family discussion!

Disney pulls from a lot of fairy tales or other classic lore & novels so we’ll pass on those movies for now. Besides, you probably already know they’re based on books.

Was the Descendants a book first? I always assumed the books were based on the movies!
I feel as if Disney+ keeps doing books I haven’t read and don’t have a lot of interest in though.

Looks like the first movie (July) & book (May) were released in 2015. Not exactly an adaption like the others but they still go together well.

They just made an Artemis Fowl adaptation, but I’m a bit scared to watch it. From the trailer it looks like they condensed the entire series into one movie. Has anyone seen it yet?

Thanks for sharing! As amusing as that was I think not watching is the right decision.
