I’m here to show off my books(s!) of the month I got this month from Book of the Month YA. I purchased these books myself. I am a Book of the Month YA affiliate. If you choose to use any of the links in my posts to sign up for an account, I get a small commission at no cost to you.
There’s still time to grab a June box. I highlighted June’s picks over here.
Ready to see my selection?
I couldn’t pass up Sarah Dessen’s new novel. I read quite a few of her books back in high school and really enjoyed them. Plus I love having contemporary books around for when I burn myself out on fantasy.
I decide to try an experiment with Book of the Month this month. When you subscribe to Book of the Month YA, you get to select your book for $14.99. You have the option of adding a second book to your box for only $9.99. Great deal, right?
My ‘problem’ was that the YA portion of the service is still in beta and very, very new. They only have a few months worth of past selections to choose from. The Adult portion of the service has been around for years and has tons of past books available.
I decided to see if as a YA subscriber I could add-on an Adult book to my box.
I CAN! This opens up so many possibilities.
I ordered Naomi Novik’s Spinning Silver.
Hope this was helpful! As a helpful measure, Book of the Month only allows one book add-on per month. This is probably a good idea. I was going to go a bit wild with adding on other titles.
Are you interested in more than ‘just’ a book each month? Make sure to check out my YA Book Subscription Box Round Up for more great options.
